Preparation Tips

To fully experience the benefits of your in-person session, arrive with a comfortably empty stomach and an open mindset. Avoid heavy meals and caffeine for at least three hours beforehand to maximise your ability to connect with your breath and remain present throughout the practice. Take a few moments before the session to set an intention and settle your thoughts so you can engage more deeply.


What To Expect At The Studio

Our Melbourne studio provides a safe, grounded environment designed for breathwork. You’ll be welcomed into a calm, dimly lit room with supportive guidance from a trained facilitator. Sessions may include group 9D breathwork, release, hybrid or gentle down regulation journey’s. The studio also offers 1:1 breathwork and private group sessions on request. Facilitators will offer verbal cues and hands-on adjustments when appropriate, and will stay with the group to support safety and integration throughout the practice.


What To Bring & Wear

  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing you can relax in.

  • Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.

  • A yoga mat, blanket, and cushion are provided, but you may bring your own for extra comfort.

  • Optional: an eye mask for deeper inward focus.


Arrival & Check-in

Please arrive 10–15 minutes before the session start time to check in, use the restroom, and settle into the space. Late arrivals can be disruptive and may not be admitted once the session has begun.


During The Session

  • Follow facilitator guidance for breathing patterns and positioning.

  • If you need to pause or take a break, signal the facilitator—your comfort and safety are our priority.

  • Allow yourself to surrender to the process; many participants experience physical release, emotional clarity, or deep relaxation.


Aftercare & Integration

Take time after the session to rest and reflect. Avoid intense physical activity for a few hours. Stay hydrated and consider journaling or gentle movement to help integrate insights. If you attended a group session, there will often be a short debrief post session to support a collective integration.
